Nasturtium seeds were used for a substitute for pepper during World War II. The name nasturtium means “nose twister” in Latin, referring to people’s reaction upon tasting the flowers.

The flowers have been pressed using the traditional method of flower pressing.
They are then printed onto thick premium quality matte photo paper with a lovely slightly off white background, then mounted onto a light grey card with a firm backing.
